James, our PPIE lead, has written a paper outlining the development of our outreach programme over the last 5 years. This programme has been supported through the development of RHITE, and helps us ensure that the voices of people with lived experience (including brain injury survivors, their families and carers) are embedded in research.

Currently, we are looking to improve on the issues raised in this paper. This means widening the diversity in geography, gender, age, ethnicity, and educational background to ensure that a wide range of voices can contribute to research.

Use the buttons below to read the paper. If you are someone with lived experience of brain injury and want to find out how you can be more involved, visit our ‘Get Involved’ page.
