Map of the geographical spread of RHITE members

It is important to us that our PPIE members are spread across the UK, as there can be differences in care depending on where you live.
Often, medical facilities are located in urban areas, making it hard for those in rural areas to access treatment. This distance can feel even greater to someone unwell and vulnerable. These people must not be forgotten in medical research, and technologies created must be accessible to all. To be able to understand how research can be tailored to marginalised groups, we must capture these experiences. This will allow us to find solutions to unmet needs and ensure everyone can access the treatment they need.
If you cannot see a pin close to where you live, please consider signing up for RHITE. Your voice could help support people who have had similar experiences to you.
